Visiting partners in Tanzania

From 31 March - 9 April 2022, our co-founders Anne Mette Bang and Thomas Ahlmann-Liisberg, together with professor Dorthe Nielsen from Southern University of Denmark, had a rewaring time visiting partners in Tanzania in preparation for feasibility study of My Personal Health Bank solution.

To prepare for the feasibility study of My Personal Health Bank solution in cooperation with our valuable partners, The University of Dodoma School of Nursing & Public Health and Muhimbili University of Health & Allied Sciences, Anne Mette and Thomas visited Tanzania this April. Also, professor Dorthe Nielsen from Southern University of Denmark came with us as primary investigator of the feasibility study.

It was a rewarding time where we met with the MPHB team in Tanzania strengthening our partnership as well as clinicians, medical officers, officials, etc. We experienced very positive feedback from clinicians saying, “This [MPHB solution] is exactly what we need.” Also, possible partnerships with e.g. World Diabetes Foundation emerged during this visit.

Coming home from Tanzania, we believe even more in our solution and are excited to see it come alive for the first time in Tanzania.
