Data Security

We care about data security. Therefore, we are designing our solution to keep patient data safe - both when it comes to access and storage.

Access to Data

Patient Ownership

Before a healthcare provider can view or update a patient’s data the patient has to grant access in the web application. Importantly, a granted access can always be limited or revoked. This means that the patient has full ownership of who has access to his/her data at all times.

Storage of Data

Cloud Storage

What if the patient loses his/her phone - or access to a computer? No problem. The patient data is stored in a secure cloud making the data available on other devices through a secure login procedure.

Cloud Solution

We use the cloud solution Microsoft Azure to store data. Microsoft is committed to protecting and managing your data.

Microsoft has invested more than 1 billion dollars in security related research and has more than 3500 security experts responsible for safeguarding data in Azure

Microsoft apply the PD3+C principles, defined in the Security Development Lifecycle (SDL) and Operational Security Assurance (OSA), throughout the company’s development and operational practices: Privacy by Design, Privacy by Default, Privacy in Deployment and Communications.
